Wedding Flowers

Louise and Andrew Tie the Knot at the Mill House

Today we are bringing you some vintage wedding flower loveliness from Louise and Andrews big day at The Mill House Hotel, Swallowfield. You can't get much more vintage than these gorgeous Amnesia roses, complimented with ivory Majolika spray roses, scented eucalyptus, hints of lisianthus and scented eucalyptus. Louise really wanted the old Hollywood vibe to her day, and subtle pearls, wound throughout the flowers provided the finishing touches to her romantic rose filled bouquet. I love the subtle colours, they make the most perfect wedding flowers. Louise (and family!) got to work crafting lots of jam jars for table centres, […]

Here Come the Boys!

Men, weddings and flowers. There may be a few sweeping statements in this little blog post, and I know there are always a few occasions where people buck the trend, but generally men have little say in wedding flowers. I also know for most men its not always the most exciting topic when it comes to planning a wedding - food, yup I get that, drinks, suits, games, ties, table plans ... generally flowers come some way down their list. I'm not complaining, but I do like it when a groom wants to step away from the traditional rose buttonhole. […]
