Learning with your hands and gathering or enhancing a skill is possibly one of the most rewarding things you can do with your time.
It challenges your brain to think differently, encourages you to slow down, and gives you space to create something meaningful.
Floristry isn’t just playing with flowers, it’s about creating a living piece of art.
After more than 18 years in retail floristry I've seen (and felt) it all. From sweeping the floor on a Saturday to creating everyday bouquets, intimate weddings and everything in between, I’ve partly downed my snips and shifted my focus. I’ve come to realise that slow, intentional teaching is where my heart is, and I want to share this passion with you!
I've tailored courses for beginners, creative souls, and florists who need some space to experiment, learn and recieve some integrated mentoring.
What makes a Green Parlour floristry course different?
Over the years, I’ve seen countless floristry courses advertised, but few offered the kind of experience I look for myself. I wanted something small, warm, and genuinely personal. So that’s exactly what I set out to create. The core of my flower school is this:
Small, intimate groups - I try to limit classes to 4-6 people
Time and space to ask questions (none are ever silly)
Calm, creative guidance that meets you where you are
Hands-on support — and I’m still on the end of an email long after the class finishes.
Our regulars say it best — many return year after year, especially for our Christmas wreath workshops, which have become as much about community as creativity. With a background in fine art and years of professional floristry, I love teaching traditional techniques alongside more experimental approaches.
You’ll leave with more than just beautiful flowers — you’ll leave with confidence, calm, and a renewed sense of creativity.
Whether you're a beginner, a curious creative, or someone returning to floristry after a break, you are so welcome here.
