We were lucky enough to work with the super talented (and also very lovely) Hannah McClune back in May 2013. I know, its taken us forever to blog the amazing images she took of Tracey and Simon's big day, but, we're sure you'll agree they are worth the wait!
We know once you take a look at Hannah's images below you'll be hooked. As well as shooting fabulous weddings, she also takes baby portraits and family shots. Hannah's definately one to watch, after scooping the Wedding Industry Expert award for " Best new photographer, Berkshire" we're pretty sure she'll be on to even greater things in 2014.
The men wore succulent and herb buttonholes. Here's simon getting pinned, the succulent is the perfect match next to his charcoal/blue suit. Tracey's bouquet was filled with Sweet Avalanche roses, peonies, Majolika spray roses, scented eucalyptus, succulents and heavily scented sweet peas. Gorgeous soft pastel colours were chosen to compliment the flowers girl dresses. Each wore a different pastel tone from soft powder blue, through to pink and a subtle lilac. Beautiful!

Firstly I have to give a huge shout out to the rather wonderful Kathryn Edwards Photography, who provided all the wonderful images your about to feast your eyes on. As you can see from the gorgeous pictures of Kuofi and Matthews big day at The Olde Bell, Kathryn manages to capture all those details and beautiful intimate moments. One talented lady!
Kuofi's bouquet was filled with David Austin Patience roses (divine scent!) poppy like anemones, bombastic spray roses, viburnum berries, scented rosemary, ranunculus and vintage pink amnesia roses. I think this has to be one of my favourite colour combinations at the moment, especially with the petrol blue viburnum berries! I love the simplicity of the bouquet, its a gorgeous mix of vintage tones with soft ivory and rustic hints. Kuofi's bouquet was bound in twine, reflecting the gardens at The Olde Bell, Hurley.

Wedding invitations have to be one of my favourite things to look at on Pinterest. I'm literally addicted to it, there are so many gorgeous ideas! So how do you go about choosing the right stationary for your big day? I always think the invite sets the tone for your guests, as well as all the important information(day, date, venue etc!), it gives them little clues to the vibe of your day.
We're thinking long and hard about the scene that we want to set with our invites, relaxed garden setting with a few unexpected surprises ... and ... NOTHING FORMAL! I adore letterpress stationary and I'm big into lino printing at the moment (think posh potato stamps) and some sort of kraft paper is an absolute must.

So I'm pretty head over heels with this invitation bundle. Gorgeous kraft paper envelope with the collection of coloured cards making it easy for your guests to take in each bit of information. I didn't think I was a fan of black paper, but in this context it works wonderfully.
I think you'll agree, this stunningly simple invitation packs some punches on the design front. The elongated design really caught my eye and I love the bold monochrome print and a cute monogram. Combine all of that with a custom designed by Lauren font for the couple and its a winner! How awesome!
Peach ... blue ... rounded corners. Need I say more!
Like I said there is heaps of inspiration out there so get looking, and pinning.

Hannah visited with her mother, Diane a few months ago to discuss all the flowers for Hannah's big day. Filling me in on all the details including lots of DIY bunting which would be hung throughout Ufton Court. I love setting up wedding flowers at Ufton Court, such an amazing venue and each wedding we do there is completely different! Hannah had chosen a colour palette of peach, blue and yellow, based around the amazing soft lemon bridesmaids dresses and her groom's love of cornflowers.
I admit it ... I am a complete David Austin rose-a-holic. This gorgeous Juliette rose is my absolute favourite, teamed with the soft blue delphiniums and deeper blue cornfowers, this is a bouquet I'm seriously considering for my wedding day!
I always feel a little uneasy uttering the word "carnation" but this soft peach Apple Tea carnation is perfect for weddings, just the right shade, not too orange and not too pink. I'm sure when I suggest it brides think I've completely lost the plot, but I hope you'll agree, its a stunning carnation.

Brides-to-be take note: Tanya provided us with the most amazing book of fabric samples allowing us to match everything perfectly. It was such a joy to have this piece of kit at our disposal!
Clusters of vases adorned the tables, each filled with peonies, Amnesia roses, veronica, scented eucalyptus and herbs, flowering nigella and Majolica spray roses.
I know I shouldn’t have favourites but Tanyas bouquet has to be one of my favourite of the year so far. Filled to the brim with blousy peonies, little groupings of ivory Majolika spray roses, darts of veronica, nigella and to top it off …sweet peas! Yum!

Red and gorgeous! Marshmallow Piano roses are my current new beau … they make my heart skip a few beats.
I’ve always wanted to use them in a bridal bouquet and finally I got my chance!
How happy we’re we when a beautiful bride asked us to create the wedding bouquet filled with berried ivy (delicious – although not when eaten) scented eucalyptus, the marshmallows aka Piano roses and Red Naomi roses.
Seriously romantic, seriously seasonal, seriously gorgeous.

Spring is in the air
We’re a few weeks late on the ‘love is in the air’ theme, so we thought we’d skip straight to spring.
Officially my favourite wedding bouquet ever! I’m head over heals in love with this gorgeous spring inspired wedding bouquet filled with anemones, scented lilac, parrot tulips, skimmia, blush Majolika spray roses and blousy ranunculus.
I almost couldn’t bring myself to deliver it to the bride.

Emily and Andrew first came to see us over two years ago, whilst this is super organized, it made the whole process of choosing the right flowers for them completely stress free. We had time to source, suggest and show them lots of different items, ideas and of course flowers!
They chose to get married at The Elephant Hotel in Pangbourne for its truly relaxed vibe and super chilled out atmosphere. The perfect setting for the winter wonderland wedding of their dreams.
The final touches to the ceremony room included these rather ‘WOW’ candelabras, which I found just days before the wedding. A rushed email to Emily and Andrew with attached pictures and they loved them too.
The flowers were designed to create a wonderfully romantic setting, with an undertone of 1940’s vintage glamour. Completely up my street!
White Akito roses, were combined with berried ivy, viburnum berries, steely green eucalyptus, scented freesias, Avalanche roses and hints of Amnesia roses to create luxurious, opulent table centres. We all absolutely fell in love with the large silver pedestal bowls and decided they were a must!
Cakes always amaze me, and Emily and Andrew had spared no expense with this drop-dead-I-want cake made by Peggy Porschen, who travelled all the way to Pangbourne to install it herself.
Emily’s wedding bouquet contained Akito roses, Amnesia roses, Majolika spray roses, berried ivy, viburnum berries, scented eucalyptus and thistles as a nod to her Scottish roots.
The bridesmaid’s bouquets were filled with Akito roses, Majolika spray roses, viburnum berries, berried ivy, eucalyptus and scented freesias. The perfect accompaniment to Emily’s wedding bouquet.
I can’t sign off without mentioning their wedding favours. Macaroons are possibly my favourite sweet treat of all time; macaroons from Ladurée are to die for.
