If you are getting married during the summer, you're going to be spoilt for choice with your wedding bouquets. There are so many blooms to choose from - frilly roses, ruffled peonies and country cornflowers just to name a few. Whether your wedding theme is romantic elegance, modern structure or rustic country garden, there will be a multitude of flower choices to suit your concept.
Always try to follow the season with your wedding flowers because you will be getting the best quality flowers at the best price. Your florist should be on hand and guide you as to whats looking gorgeous and what will give you the perfect vibe for your day.
I'm going to share with you some of my favourite summer wedding bouquets. If you love bright flowers or if you love a neutral palette, I'll inspire you with the best of the seasons flowers
Whether you are going for a classic or rustic look, pastel pink flowers are always a popular choice for summer wedding bouquets.
If you want a more elegant look, keep to 1-2 different flower varieties for a cleaner, classic feel. Rustic barn weddings always scream texture, twiddly bits and lots of different varieties of flowers.
If you're after a soft feminine bouquet, this may be the perfect one for you. Filled with Mansfield Park and Quicksand roses with an array of delicate greenery this wedding bouquet has graceful charm.
Combining shades of pink and peach with lots of textures creates a feminine boho bouquet. David Austin Juliette roses are the perfect addition for a peach rose for your summer wedding. Add texture using flowers such as astrantia and nigella.
If you're after a more modern bouquet, try adding in tropical flowers with big bold shapes. These phalaenopsis orchid heads bring a touch of the exotic to this bouquet. Play with different shapes and ensure the bouquet doesn't end up too symmetrical. Using Icelandic poppies and ranunculus provide a softer feminine feel. Team this bouquet with a bridal jumpsuit for the ultimate non traditional bridal look.
The flower of the summer! These Duchess De Nemour peonies are perfect to create a classic summer bridal bouquet. Team with delicate greenery and add a pop of colour with mint or sweet peas.
Romance with roses and peonies. This bouquet is the epitome of elegance and romance, using the best of the summer flowers. Filled with scented roses, sweet peas and white peonies, this bouquet also smelt beautiful.
Just because your considering a neutral wedding bouquet, it doesn't mean you have to avoid all colour - you could include small hints of baby blue oxypetalum or use the softest blush roses to add a little warmth next to the predominantly white bouquet. Using these little moments of colour enhances a country garden bridal bouquet.
All the texture! Purples look fantastic using lots of tints, tones and textures. This posy would be perfect for a barn wedding venue
Unstructured bouquets are perfect for picturesque barn venues. Combining the best of the summer flowers, this bouquet was floaty, delicate and deliciously fragrant.

Classic wedding flowers don't have to be just lilies and roses. You could look at including more feminine flowers such as sweet peas, lily of the valley and soft greenery which will create a classic feminine feel
