I am such a white rose girl and they are the perfect for a classical, elegant wedding. I think my favourite thing of all has to be spray roses, I am a complete sucker for them especially when you get these gorgeous green buds poking out between the Akito roses. We filled this wedding bouquet with yummy scented freesias and had one happy bride! hurray!

Statement pedestals for a church are always worth spending a big portion of your budget on. They are the first florals your guests interact with, will be featured in those precious moments where you say “I do” and can be relocated to your reception venue after your ceremony (more bang for your floral buck!)

It’s often discussed in our consultations about the size of statement arrangements - Is it worth it? Will they be too big for the space? They are an investment but the grandeur of a traditional church means they can easily house such large pieces. There are times for restraint, but pedestals are the time to go big or go home.

Roses galore and some jasmine, eustoma and sweet peas. Simplicity and romance combined perfectly, with those Toffee roses bringing in the colour palette of the moment.

The last of the autumn wreaths have been delivered - that can only mean one thing, Christmas loading ….

My wreath order book for Christmas is now open (link in bio) I’m taking on limited numbers of wreaths this year so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Making an excellent, knock-your-socks-off wreath is not a quick business - each one takes around 2.5 hours of hard skilled labour.

It’s a true skill, and my days working until 2am making all your wreaths is over - so book early, because I’m going to be strict with my boundaries this year 😉

Walking in to an autumn wedding at @dorneycourt

Hannah wanted the wow as soon as you walked into the venue and we decided to add some statement height using metal stands. Not only did they house a gorgeous large floral piece on top, they also hand intricate hanging flowers placed within. Its all about those little details and connecting large arrangements with the table area below.

These were combined with lower arrangements on alternative tables, so your eye really travels around the space. Again, its all about the little details ... coloured vases to enhance the colour of the flowers, candles to add height and definition.
