Wasing Park Wedding Flowers for an October wedding
Wasing Park Wedding Flowers For An October Wedding
Wasing Park has to be one of my favourite venues to provide wedding flowers for. With its expansive grounds, gorgeous buildings, and an incredibly helpful team, it’s always a joy to work there and set up beautiful wedding florals.
I had the absolute pleasure of working with Alice and Gareth for their October wedding at Wasing Park. They were such a lovely couple to work with, and we started planning their floral designs about 8 months before their big day. Right from the beginning, they had a clear vision for their wedding flowers, with a well-defined colour palette that guided our work throughout the entire process.
The couple chose to go with our bespoke wedding flower service, which meant we were involved with them every step of the way—from the initial consultation to the setup on the day, and even taking down the flowers the following day. It was so rewarding to see their ideas come to life through the florals we created together.

Alice’s October Bridal Bouquet
Alice’s bridal bouquet truly captured the essence of October.
For her bouquet, we used seasonal dahlias from our own cutting garden, paired with garden roses, eustoma, clematis, thistle, and scabiosa to create a textured, vibrant composition.
Combining both lighter and richer hues is a wonderful way to reflect the autumn season. These deeper pops of colour bring the perfect autumnal vibe without fully embracing the typical fall palette, allowing for a more softly seasonal look that still feels appropriate for the time of year.
The bouquet was designed with a loose, relaxed, and gathered style to give it a friendly, approachable feel. We wanted Alice’s bouquet to appear effortless yet full of character—like it had been freshly picked from the garden, with each flower thoughtfully selected for its unique texture and colour.
Individually Designed Buttonholes
For Alice and Gareth’s wedding, we wanted to create something special for each member of the wedding party, and the buttonholes were the perfect opportunity to do just that. Each one was individually designed, reflecting the personal style and personality of the wearer. We used seasonal blooms like thistle, garden roses, scabiosa, and eucalyptus to create a cohesive look with the bridal bouquet. The buttonholes were thoughtfully tailored for each person, ensuring they felt unique while still complementing the overall floral theme.
Elegant wedding ceremony setup in the Garden Room at Wasing Park with flower pedestal vases and candles down the aisle
Dressing the Garden Room at Wasing Park for a wedding is always such a joy. With so many ways to personalise the space—from arches and moongates to pedestal arrangements—it’s easy to make each wedding feel unique. For Alice and Gavin’s October wedding, they chose four beautiful pedestal arrangements to frame the space: two at the start of the aisle and two near the ceremony table.
To add extra warmth and ambience, we lined the aisle with tea lights and candles, including our new coloured tea lights, which perfectly enhanced the space. The soft flicker of candlelight, combined with the floral displays, really lifted the atmosphere and added a romantic touch to the ceremony.
One of the benefits of using pedestal arrangements at Wasing Park is their versatility. After the ceremony, we were able to easily move the floral pedestals into The Castle Barn for the reception. With our Bespoke Wedding Flower service, we’re with you every step of the way—handling not only the setup of the flowers but also the seamless transition from one space to another.
Bespoke Wedding Reception Flowers in The Castle Barn at Wasing Park
Floral Designs for the Reception at The Castle Barn, Wasing Park
The Castle Barn at Wasing Park is another stunning venue space, and it's so easy to personalise with your own unique style. Over the years, we’ve designed gorgeous tall vases, dainty bud vases, and everything in between. But I have to admit, the designs we chose for Alice and Gavin were truly special.
For their reception, we opted for low fluted glass bowls, filled with seasonal flowers that truly captured the essence of autumn. These beautiful floral bowls were surrounded by taper candles and the coloured tea light holders from the ceremony, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.
For the top table, we reused the flowers from the ceremony, bringing them forward to create a seamless flow between the two spaces. The top table was adorned with ceremony flowers, and we dotted the table with empty vases for the bride and bridesmaids to sit within. The table was then completed with a stunning array of candles and tea light holders, making the tablescape feel full and elegant.
We also moved the beautiful ceremony plinth flowers to sit behind the top table and opposite, creating a wonderful floral focal point in the Barn. The flowers seamlessly connected the ceremony to the reception, elevating the entire space.
With our Bespoke Wedding Flower service, we provide hired containers and candles, set everything up for you, and stay on-site as standard to ensure that all your floral arrangements are moved seamlessly from the ceremony space to the reception
Working with Alice and Gavin to bring their floral vision to life at Wasing Park was such a rewarding experience. From the ceremony flowers that set the tone for their special day to the seamless transition of those blooms into their reception space, it was a pleasure to be a part of their celebration. The combination of seasonal flowers, candles, and thoughtfully placed arrangements created a warm, inviting atmosphere that truly reflected their love story.
