"I strongly believe your wedding is about you, your personality and your journey. We live in an age of constant image bombardment, none more prevalent than wedding floristry. This rich tapestry of inspiration should be just that, inspiration. The magic happens when you work alongside a florist who wholeheartedly makes it their mission to bring this inspiration to life, injecting flowers with your individuality and your love story"

FREQUENTY ASKED QUESTIONS
I first starting working as a florist in 2000 alongside my education and studying for a degree in Fine Art. After a few years in retail management, I set up Green Parlour in 2008 and have had over 15 years working on weddings.
I was extremely lucky to have trained at a top London florist, who provided the most wonderful spring board into what has been a fabulous career. With the addition of a degree in Fine Art, I've developed and honed my floristry style to what you see today.
I love this question - I believe that your wedding is totally unique and I tailor my floristry style to match your personalities.
I love flowers and I LOVE what I do and hopefully this reflects in the work that you see. Combining that love and passion with over 15 years floristry experience means you will be well looked after.
With over 15 years working with hundereds of couples, there isnt much I havent experienced when it comes to weddings. This means I'm on hand to guide you through what works for your inspiration and your budget. It also means I'm able to adapt if the need arises.
Yes! I have worked all over the UK from Manchester to London to Devon. I'm able to sort all the logistics of travelling further afield so it's not on your shoulders to arrange.
I am based in Berkshire, so most of my weddings tend to be within the home counties, but I love travelling, so if you are getting married further afield, please don't be afraid to reach out!
Yes I have insurance and am able to provide a copy to your venue if they require it
As a general rule no! I want to put all my time and energy into making your florals and wedding day run smoothly. As I put so uch of myself into my work, I like to be able to concentrate on your wedding day only.
There are the occasional circumstances where I may have small birdal party flowers to deliver alongside your wedding day, but I would always be very open with you if this was the case and I never take on more work than I know I am able to deliver.
I love working with all types of couples from all types of backgrounds, beliefs and sexes.
I work best with couples who value flowers and what they can bring to your wedding day. Couples who want those details to fully embody who they are, capturing their personalities.
Whilst I'd love to provide flowers for any and every wedding, due to the fact that I have to buy flowers from our growers in large quantities, its not often possible for me to provide flowers for everyone.
If you are looking for a florist who will proide flowers for your bridal party, your ceremony and your reception, I would love to talk.
I have a suggested minimum spend of £2000 (including VAT) for your wedding flowers
Whilst I love working with all couples (and all types of flowers!) If you are looking for a florist who is going to recreate an exact bouquet for you that you have seen on Pinterest, I may not be the best fit for you.
By been perscriptive on exactly what flowers and how many stems you require, you don't let a florist showcase their creativit and uniqueness.
I love platforms for inspiration, I feel that it should be just that - inspiration. This forms the basis of our consultations and my job is to find out how to make your wedding flowers personal to you.
I'm so pleased! I can't wait to start the process of planning your wedding flowers together.
The next step is to email me info@greenparlour.com with details of your wedding date, venue and a contact number so that we can arrange an initial chat about your wedding day.
After our first complimentary consultation you will recieve an estimate for your wedding flowers. Obviosuly I hope you like all the suggestions, but don't be alarmed if we need to refine ideas. That's all part of the process.
If you want to proceed and work with me, I ask for a £100 booking fee to confirm your date.
The balance is due 4 weeks before your wedding day.
