Hi, I’m Emma, one of the proud founders of Green Parlour Florist, located in Reading. For over 10 years, flowers have been our passion. My journey into the floral world started long before we opened Green Parlour, and every day I’m still just as excited about flowers as I was when I first fell in love with them

My love for flowers began back at school, but it wasn’t until my early career that I really began to immerse myself in the floral world. I was lucky enough to work at a flower shop that had a forward-thinking approach, helping it grow into a successful chain with multiple locations, including one on Oxford Street, London. It was here that my obsession with flora and fauna took root, and I knew this was where my heart was.
Though I studied fine art and ventured into retail management with brands like Gap and French Connection, flowers were always in the back of my mind. In 2008, with the incredible support of my partners Paul and Margaret, we took the leap and opened the doors to Green Parlour Florist.

At Green Parlour, we’ve been lucky enough to work with amazing clients and grow into a team of six talented flower enthusiasts who share the same passion. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of creating stunning floral arrangements for weddings, events, and corporate clients. One of the highlights was receiving a call from HRH The Duchess of Cambridge herself, asking if we would help with the flowers for the royal wedding—a true honour for our team.
We’ve seen many milestones—our first wedding, our first Christmas, the opening of our flower school—and every day, we continue to make people smile as we deliver our bespoke floral creations across Berkshire, Oxfordshire, and beyond.

Flowers are more than just petals and stems to me—they’re about creating beauty, evoking emotions, and making special moments unforgettable. At Green Parlour, we pride ourselves on offering bespoke florals that perfectly suit each client’s vision. Whether it’s a wedding, a corporate event, or simply a bouquet to brighten someone’s day, we take great care in creating arrangements that reflect the love and passion we have for flowers.
